Molly inspects this week's finished object: a $1 sock. I made it from a skein of sock yarn purchased out of the $1 bin at Beth's shop (Yarn 2 Go). It has a mate. They are not particularly beautiful, but functional. I think it was probably Regia 6 ply and I knit them up (fast) on size 3's.
The next sock is Ginger's birthday sock. I made them for her out of Socka on size 1's and a King Charles Brocade pattern on the calf. They match 99% of her work shirts.

So does this mean that the King Charles Brocade is over and you are free from the ball-and-chain pattern book?
